DFSS, Design for Six Sigma is a structured process that designs six sigma performance into products and processes from the start. DFSS is about leaping past incremental improvements by utilizing a rigorous design method you can use to create products and processes that wow customers by delivering value and excellence. DFSS uses a methodology called DMADV, which has 5 phases: Define, Measure, Analyse, Design and Verify. This course is a practical design course aimed at developing transactional processes. You will be exposed to the most useful design tools, such as Voice of the Customer, QFD, TRIZ, Modeling, and Risk Management. This course is an excellent stand alone course or can be used in conjunction with your existing design processes to add rigor and improve success rates of new process designs. |
